Quality Matters
A lot of roofing companies say they have quality, but Assure Exteriors has written quality standards that are continually monitored as your roof is being built. On every roof replacement you can expect:
- On-site job supervision by a Six Sigma Certified company owner
- All landscaping, air conditioning units, and other property will be protected from damage
- Each roof is stripped down to the decking, and rotten decking is replaced
- New 15 lb. or 30 lb. felt paper installed on decking
- All step and counter flashing is inspected and replaced if damaged
- Leak barrier underlayment installed in valleys, around chimneys and walls, and around all penetrations
- All storm collars and vent pipes are resealed and painted to match roof
- All pipe boots are replaced
- Chalk lines are snapped to ensure straight courses and to prevent nailing outside the nail line
- Installation of top manufacturer products such as Owens Corning, Certainteed, GAF
- Staggered shingle courses help to counter roof rafter "deflection" (waviness)
- Starter shingles are installed at all eaves and rakes
- Proper nails per shingle and position of nails on shingle are inspected to follow manufacturer's specs
- Cap shingles are installed on all ridges and hips
- Ridge vent systems (or other ventilation systems) are properly installed and sealed
- Upon job completion, all gutters are cleaned, debris is removed, and your yard meticulously cleaned
- Nail magnets are used to pick up every nail
- Dump trailers are used to minimize yard debris and are removed at end of day
- A final quality review is performed to ensure your complete satisfaction
